Inspired by the Chinese lunar calendar, Vespa proudly presents a new and exclusive special edition of the Vespa 946 for the third consecutive year: the Vespa 946 Snake. Following the predecessor models Vespa 946 Bunny 2023 and Vespa 946 Dragon 2024, the series is now being expanded with a third limited and numbered collection comprising a total of 888 units. The launch of the spectacular model will be accompanied by the opening of temporary pop-up stores at selected international locations.
The Lunar Collection from Vespa is once again under the sign of the moon this year with selected collector’s items for passionate Vespisti worldwide. The Vespa 946 Snake honors the Year of the Snake, which begins with the Chinese New Year on January 29. The Chinese zodiac sign, which runs in a 12 year cycle, symbolizes intelligence, intuition and mysterious charm in 2025. It inspires people to push boundaries, act boldly and expand their horizons – a philosophy that is expressed in the design and concept of this model.
The Vespa 946 Snake is inspired by the icy landscapes of winter and is characterized by a dazzling blue paintwork in frosty shades that reflects the purity and power of winter landscapes. The color scheme is combined with original details, such as handlebar grips and a saddle reminiscent of the soft texture of snakeskin, giving the scooter an unmistakable design. The chrome-plated snake, which adorns both the saddle hub and the mudguard, is particularly impressive and captures the strength, grace and mysticism of the zodiac sign.
The Vespa 946 Snake is accompanied by a whole range of accessory options that have been designed with the utmost attention to design and functionality and perfectly match the style of the collection. The Vespa Snake universe is completed by the Vespa Snake Capsule fashion collection, which was presented back in October and has now been expanded to include two key elements: a long down coat and a bomber jacket for the colder months. The bomber jacket has an iridescent sheen that is reminiscent of the icy hues of the winter landscape. The contrast between the shiny fabric and the embroidered graphic details gives it a modern, expressive aesthetic.

Pop-up stores in selected cities – including Vienna
The launch of the new special edition Vespa 946 Snake will be accompanied by the opening of temporary pop-up stores in ten selected cities worldwide. After a first stop in Rome at the Rinascente Tritone, the first event of the new year will take place from January 7 to February 5 at the Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elysées in Paris. This will be followed by openings in Milan at La Rinascente, in Vienna at Kaufhaus Steffl, in Beijing at Galeries Lafayette, in Istanbul at Vakko, in Bangkok at Emquartier, in Singapore at Paragon, in Hanoi at Trang Tien and in Jakarta Plaza Indonesia.
